1. Acceptance of these terms
By using this website or submitting any form on it (the Launch Checklist signup, the Connect form, an event RSVP, or a Hangar inquiry), you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the site or submit a form.
2. What this site is
Runway Media Co. is a media company producing podcast and short-form content, running public events, and, through The Hangar, occasionally offering capital and involvement to a small number of founders. Nothing on this site, including The Hangar, is investment advice, a guarantee of any outcome, or an offer that becomes binding until separate, signed legal paperwork is in place for that specific deal. The Hangar is 18+, or requires a parent or guardian’s involvement.
3. Eligibility
This site is intended for people 17 and older. Submitting a form is a representation that you meet that minimum, or that a parent/guardian is submitting on your behalf where noted (e.g. The Hangar).
4. Acceptable use
Don’t use the forms on this site to submit false information, impersonate someone else, or send anything unlawful, abusive, or intended to disrupt the site. We can decline to respond to, or delete, any submission for any reason.
5. Intellectual property
The Runway name, logo, and the content we publish (episodes, articles, video) belong to us or our licensors. Nothing here grants you a license to reuse it beyond normal viewing/reading of the public site.
6. Email communications consent
When you check the consent box on a form and submit it, you’re giving Runway Media Co., specifically, and only Runway Media Co., express permission to email you for the purpose stated next to that checkbox. This is a one-to-one consent: it authorizes emails from us about the thing you actually signed up for, it is not a blanket opt-in shared with any other company, affiliate, or marketing partner, and we don’t sell or rent your email address to anyone.
Depending on which form you submit, that means:
- Launch Checklist signup:we’ll email you the checklist and may follow up with related updates from Runway.
- Connect / contact forms:we’ll reply to what you wrote, by email, from a real person on our team.
- Event RSVPs:we’ll email you logistics and updates about that specific event.
Consent is never a condition of getting anything else from us, you can ask a question or reach out without opting into anything else. You can revoke consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or by emailing contact@runwaymediaco.com, and we’ll honor that within 10 business days, consistent with the federal CAN-SPAM Act and Texas Business & Commerce Code Chapter 321. Every marketing email we send identifies us honestly, uses a subject line that isn’t misleading, and includes our physical address and a working unsubscribe link.
7. No warranty
This site and its content are provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don’t guarantee any particular outcome, financial or otherwise, from anything published here or from participating in The Hangar, an event, or any other Runway offering.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Texas law, Runway Media Co. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site or communications with us. Our total liability for any claim arising from the site or these terms is limited to $100.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Runway Media Co. harmless from any claim arising out of your misuse of the site, a form submission that violates these terms, or your violation of any law.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in [PLACEHOLDER: county, e.g. “Lubbock County, Texas”, confirm against the company’s actual registered address].
11. Changes to these terms
We can update these terms at any time. If the change is meaningful, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
